As a wholesaler and exporter, we at Waterdrinker are
the pioneers of collaboration in the industry. We like to help and support our
partners because by joining forces we achieve the best results.
When Amigo Plant asked us to help market their new
plant - the Aloe Medivera - the decision was easy. Of course, we wanted to
support this product introduction! A brainstorm about the introduction possibilities
followed soon. That we would present the Aloe Medivera at our Novelty Square
was certain (this is the place where customers can discover new concepts and
introductions). But how could we highlight this plant even better? By using
Waterdrinker's communication channels (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn), by
giving the plant a stage in our inspiration wall, and by informing customers
during meet & greets. Because what works better than letting the grower
himself speak and creating a personal contact moment? His heart and soul are
put into it and he can tell all about it! This way, the customer can easily get
to know the plant (which is necessary to successfully introduce it to the end
consumer) and the grower can gain valuable feedback that can be used for
further improvement of the assortment.
Back to the plant. What makes the Aloe Medivera so special?
The shape and color of its leaves. Whereas the
traditional Aloe Vera is plain, the Aloe Medivera also comes in variegated
versions. We start with the introduction at Waterdrinker with three varieties:
the Aloe Medivera Tropical, the Aloe Medivera Meridiaan, and - favorite of our
Planthunter Fons Bon - the Aloe Medivera Equator. Why this one is his favorite?
Because of the white needles that stand out beautifully against the deep green
color!
The Aloe Medivera will be available from week 42 at
the Green Trade Center. The dates for the meet & greets will follow soon
via social media.
