Since
September 2022, the vases of Return to Sender are available at Dobbeflowers in
the Green Trade Center (GTC). These trendy design vases come in a variety of sizes, colors and
patterns. By selling them, you make a sustainable choice and contribute to a
better employment position for women in developing countries.
Through
fair, sustainable trade, Return to Sender empowers women from the world's
poorest regions to build a life for themselves and for their families. Together
with Dutch top designers, a design collection is developed annually, based on
the techniques and materials from the country. The designers are responsible
for the design, the craftswomen for the execution and production. The income
goes directly 'return to sender' which contributes to a better wage and facilitates
employment.
The price
for each product is determined based on the time it takes to make, the
complexity of the design and the cost of the raw materials. Each item is
handmade and is therefore unique in its kind.
