The AI Florist - developed by Bloemenbureau Holland - is now being deployed for Mother’s Day following the success of Valentine’s Day! This digital assistant helps consumers in assembling a unique and personal bouquet.

The craftsmanship and creativity of real florists are irreplaceable, of course. But let’s be honest, on hectic days like Mother’s Day, a little extra help can’t hurt. And that’s where this AI tool comes in perfectly! The digital flower assistance provides support and contributes to an optimal customer experience.
Bouquets with character
The digital flower assistance is based on the characteristics of the recipient. Based on this, matching flowers are selected. It is then up to the florist to translate the picture into a meaningful bouquet.
Promotion
In the run-up to Mother’s Day, the AI Florist is promoted through various online channels and by influencers, enticing people to have a bouquet assembled at their local florist. The digital flower assistance forms an additional marketing channel that is expected to appeal to a younger audience and thus give sales an extra boost.
How it works
The AI tool is available from April 25 via aibloemist.mooiwatbloemendoen.nl. Here consumers not only receive flower advice but also suggestions for an original message card. The consumer has two options:
- They can choose to have the bouquet assembled by a local florist. They will then receive a flower shopping list of up to seven types and can decide for themselves how many and which ones they want to include in the bouquet. With seven options, there is enough choice, so if a specific flower is not in stock, another option can easily be offered. The flowers from the tool are flowers that are available all year round (or specifically during this period).
