From August 20, we will be selling an exclusive vtwonen plant line at the Waterdrinker Green Trade Center. vtwonen is known for its inspiring interior ideas with often a leading role for plants! Therefore, a green collection has been developed in collaboration with Waterdrinker Aalsmeer.

The importance of bees and butterflies for flowers, plants and people has become clear to most people thanks to the actions of environmental and animal organizations. Now that Waterdrinker has access to pieces of "garden" at the Green Trade Center, we also want to improve the environment around our company for these beautiful and important animals. That is why a "bee (and butterfly) friendly" garden was planted last week.
Visitors to our Waterdrinker Green Trade Center may already have noticed that construction work is under way. These are preparations for the start of the construction of Floriworld, the leading center of experience and expertise for the flower sector.
It's a well-known one-liner: ‘Every Phalaenopsis is an Orchid but not every Orchid is a Phalaenopsis'. In fact, there are no fewer than 25,000 species! At the Green Trade Center we aim to present as diverse a range of Orchids as possible because it is those other species that are so distinctive, special, unique and, as such, a must-have for every florist.
On Sunday 10 March, Dillewijn Zwapak officially opened the 'doors’ of their shop-in-shop at the Waterdrinker GTC. Despite the shop-in-shop harmonising beautifully with the rest of the GTC, the look and feel of the interior is unmistakably Dillewijn Zwapak.
Sunday 10 March saw the kick-off of the spring season at the GTC, which coincides beautifully with the second edition of the Waterdrinker GTC Days. While the weather doesn't exactly evoke a sense of spring yet, our customers are clearly ready for the new season to start.
After a successful 1st edition, it’s ‘GTC Days time’ again: from March 10 – 15 we’ll not only celebrate the start of the season but we also introduce the new trend ‘Fun with Nature’ in our GTC!
Spring Surprises like hazel (Corylus avellana Concorta'), rock cress (Arabis), primula (Primula aucalis) and Aubrieta are perfect for those who can’t wait to bring their garden to life. Not only do they bloom early, but the latter two provide a second round of flowering later in the year.
