In 2023, we successfully established our own import line from South America. Now, one year later, we have expanded our import lines by establishing a new import line from South Africa. This addition is made possible through a partnership with FreshCap, enabling us to offer an even broader range of flower species.
Who is FreshCap?
FreshCap is a South African flower grower and exporter with offices in South Africa and the Netherlands, specializing in premium-quality, indigenous South African fynbos flora. They offer over 250 species of flowers, including Protea, Leucadendron, Leucospermum, and others, as well as dried and preserved varieties. The Cape Floral Kingdom, renowned for its rich biodiversity and home to a plethora of Proteaceæ species, serves as the primary source of FreshCap's flowers. Fynbos, which constitutes 80% of this kingdom, flourishes particularly in the Western Cape region. Among these diverse floral treasures, the Protea stands out as an emblem of courage, strength, adaptability, and transformation. Notably, the King Protea holds the esteemed title of South Africa's national flower and represents a flagship product within FreshCap's offerings. The company emphasizes sustainable harvesting and manages the cultivation cycle from nursery to packaging, ensuring high-quality standards and maintaining the cold chain for optimal post-harvest conditions.

Thanks to close collaboration with our partners, we offer the flexibility to order as little as one or a few boxes per shipment. If you’re interested in trying something out, this is definitely possible. Additionally, we’re at your service for special requests, such as combining different types in one box. Feel free to share your preferences with us; we strive to meet all your needs. Every Monday, the most recent offers and prices are uploaded to the webshop and apply from the following Monday until Friday.
